★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No wonder most Japanese don't have a driver's license. This is probably the most corrupt place in all of Japan. You take a driver's test, and regardless of how well you do, they make you take it at least 9 more times before they let you pass. It's part of the Japanese philosophy of repeating an action until it can be done perfectly, but it is still nonetheless ridiculous. I almost regret coming to Japan at all because of this place alone. Avoid it if possible.
