The former shrine of Ise Jingu in the mountains of Kyoto. The parking lot was nearby, and it was a form of paying money to the mailbox. It seems good to take the train slowly for about 15 minutes from the nearest station. Climb the stairs from the parking lot to the main shrine. About 10 minutes. It was just a good exercise. I think it is difficult for people in wheelchairs. The area is foggy, humid and has a rich forest scent, so I enjoyed a different atmosphere from Ise Jingu in Mie. I didn't get the red stamp probably because I visited on Monday evening, so it seems better to check in advance if you wish. I was impressed by the primitive log torii gate. It may be an abandoned place for sightseeing now, The power I felt was very powerful, and I had an experience that evoked my roots. It takes two years to go around the spots connecting the 135 degree line little by little.

If you climb the approach slowly, you will reach the main shrine, so it's okay. Please enjoy the solemn space. It's a torii gate of Kuroki, but has the bark been peeled off?

Former Ise Naigu is famous for its visit to Ise Naigu in Mie Prefecture. However, the Imperial Grand Shrine here has all kinds of shrines. Moreover, there were many, and above all, the cedar trees are quite old. I suspect that various gods have walked around. Why don't you come and say hello once? I think it would be nice if you could take a bath in the power spot of Fukuchiyama and make your wish come true.

It is said that the 10th Emperor Sujin worshiped the mirror of Amaterasu Omikami from the Yamato region in 1939, and after moving around the country, 54 years later, he was officially enshrined at Ise Jingu in Mie Prefecture. A shrine called Isemiya. If you walk about 300m from the parking lot on the side of Prefectural Road 9, you will see the stone sign of "Former Ise Naigu Imperial Shrine". If you go up the mountain road for another 4 to 500 meters from here, you will reach the shrine. It's a small shrine, but it has a solemn appearance. There is also Amanoiwato Shrine 700m away.

Main deity: Amaterasu Omikami According to a book called Yamatohime-no-Mikoto, in the 39th year of Emperor Sujin, Toyotohime-no-Mikoto, who dedicated Amaterasu Omikami, moved to Tanba Province in search of a seat and built Yoshisamiya. It is written that he served for four years. According to the company's biography, our company is a historic site, and even after Amaterasu Omikami moved from Yoshisagu, he continued to be revered as the former shrine of the Ise Jingu Naiku and built the shrine in the former Ming Emperor (707-715). It is said. (There are various theories) Many shrines are enshrined around the main shrine as well as the former Ise Geku and Toyokedai Shrine. It is a wonderful precinct that feels like a mysterious garden. Worship: 2021/11/23

Time stood still here while I performed O'Hyakudo in 2002. I visited again in 2005, 2008, 2013 and 2016. I shall visit again.

This shrine is where the Shinto Sun Goddess was enshrined before moving to Ise Jingu (it is called moto Ise because moto means originally or before). It predates the Ise Jingu Grand Shrine by 54 years, but the history stretches even further back to before there were even shrines in Japan. The shrine features a beautifully shaded stone path with mossy trees, and the shrine area has a main shrine and dozens of smaller sister shrines. The most impressive feature of the grounds is a 2,000 year old cedar, called the Dragon Lantern Cedar, said to release a dragon on February 2 or 3 (when setsubun ends). The tree has been hit by lightning, possibly multiple times according to local beliefs, but it continues to grow. The nature and size of the trees in the area are quite beautiful, and you can continue to walk to other sites nearby, like Mt. Himurogatake (pyramid shaped mountain and power spot) and Amanoiwato Shrine (built on a boulder on a river bank). Its quiet here and there were no other people.
