★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Morioka Hachimangu shrine is the biggest shrine in Morioka. The autumn festival is popular among the local people. I have never seen the Yabusame that a samurai release arrows on a horse. I would like to see it in near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hachimangu Shrine is a beautiful shrine that is well worth the visit. It is known for its Autumn Festival (Aki Matsuri) which is held every fall. The shrine has traditional dance performances, horseback archery, and food stalls during the festival. The shrine grounds feel spacious, but do not require too much walking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, there are small shrines of the zodiac on the left of the shrine. The shrine structure and building is big, they had a sofu ice cream place that is quite delicious. There are many spaces for car park, for free. You can buy sport charms, strawberry charms, etc.
