It's a bridge that I've always been interested in when driving on National Highway No. 19, but when I actually visit it, it's a pretty big and magnificent bridge. It's a very old bridge for pedestrians only, but you can still walk across it. The surrounding area is very well maintained as Tenpaku Park and is a great walking spot. I would like you to visit various places in the park according to your time. It may be a coincidence, but it may be a little-known spot because it is surprisingly vacant for a magnificent park with many attractions. If possible, it is a place where you want to spend a relaxing time with plenty of time.

Oldest wooden suspension bridge in Japan, built in 1922. Pretty close to the train station (follow the road in the river upstream direction, there is a big sign where you need to turn left to reach the bridge). A good place to visit if you need to wait for a train.

Interesting bridge. Makes a nice side trip for something extra to do while in town. There is a little park across this bridge with a overview of the town.

One of the biggest wooden suspension bridges in Japan. Constructed by Mr. Momosuke Fukuzawa, nicknamed 'The King of Electrical Power' for being the first Japanese to introduce hydroelectric power to the country.

Very nice, picturesque bridge! You can get some good photos of the bridge as well as nice views on the bridge. There's also a small, quiet park under it with some picnic benches and tables. You can even play mini golf there if you bring your own equipment.
