m	mitu tokudome on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 資料館を中心に見てきました。千葉県に来て、あちこにある、丸い「ガスタンク」と、短時間でお湯が沸く、ガス代が安いなどの理由がここで、解りました。そう、「天然ガス」それも純国産の自前の燃料でした。館内に「天然ガス」の昔の採掘場のビデオが放映されていて、思わず見入ってしまいました。明治の人は、すごいと思いました。となりの「茂原公園駐車場」とは、約500ｍ離れていて、歩いてくることは出来ますが、車は別の駐車場に止めなければ、来ることはできません。「茂原公園駐車場」を迂回して、北側にある、住宅街の中を抜けると、茂原市立美術館・郷土資料館専用の駐車場があります。身体がご不自由な方々はこちらの方が便利だと思います。入り口の案内が小さくて見落としますが、入り口まで行けます。二階は、市民ギャラリーのようで、ご自慢の作品が展示できるようです。桜の春は、込みそうなところですが、紅葉の秋ごろが静かで、再び訪れたいと思いました。 I have been looking mainly at the museum. 中	中山家範 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場無料、見学無料ではありますが、郷土資料館としては、やや物足りなさが否めません。公園の一番奥になるので、散策のラストとして、ちょろっと見学する感じで良いと思います。 Although the parking lot is free and the tour is free, it is undeniably unsatisfactory as a local museum. It's the deepest part of the park, so it's a good idea to take a short tour as the last part of your walk.
