★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are NO English words so I had to Guess with my mandarin character knowledge (lucky me). Anyway the mochi I had wasn’t sweet at all. In fact it might have been slightly salty even. Which sucked because I would have preferred a sweet one. That being said, the skin covering the various beans was absolutely soft and so so delicious! Also fun fact “Daifukumochi (大福餅), or Daifuku (大福) (literally "great luck"), is a Japanese confection consisting of a small round mochi (glutinous rice cake) stuffed with sweet filling, most commonly anko, sweetened red bean paste made from azuki bean” so for those wondering it’s the same thing as mochi.
*OH Google just told me I had the SHIO DAIFUKU a salty version of a traditional Japanese sweet made from mochi filled with unsweetened adzuki bean paste.
