★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長野県の寒天は有名ですが、ほとんどがこの茅野市宮川周辺で作られています。真冬に茅野へ遊びに来てどこへも行くところがない、というのなら寒天干場の見物もお勧めです。ただし先方もビジネスとしてやっていますので当然ながら迷惑をかけてはいけません。２０号線を諏訪の方から走ってくると中河原の交差点右前方が「長野県寒天水産加工業協同組合」さんでここで聞いてもいいし、おそらく近くで寒天を干しているはずです。さらに２０号線を１.２キロほど進み西茅野の交差点を左折、突き当りを左折すると、寒天干場があります。その先に100ｍほどで北原産業さんの寒天工場があります。いつも干しているとは限りません。いずれにしても寒いですよ。
 Agar in Nagano Prefecture is famous, but most of it is made around Miyagawa in Chino City. If you come to Chino in the middle of winter and there is nowhere to go, we recommend visiting the agar dry field. However, since the other party also does business, do not inconvenience. If you drive along line 20 from Suwa, you can ask here at the Nagano Prefectural Agar Fisheries Processing Cooperative, right in front of the Nakagawara intersection, and you should probably have dried agar nearby. Continue on Route 20 for about 1.2 km and turn left at the intersection of Nishi-Chino, then turn left at the end. Kitahara Sangyo's agar factory is about 100 meters ahead. It is not always dry. Either way it is cold.
