As in other reviews, it will be privately owned. "Machida Folktales and Traditions Vol. 2" Machida City Board of Education It is as follows on page 12 and below of the issue. "It is the most valuable historic site in the Machida city area because it clearly retains the remains of the castle in the late Middle Ages." "Miwa, which has many castles, is located at the middle point of Takiyama Castle, Hachioji Castle, Naruse Castle, Kozukue Castle, etc. In terms of traffic, the road that runs east and west along the Tsurumi River, and Kurokawa and Kozukue・ It is located facing the old road that passes through Nogaya, Okagami, and Nara, and the Kamakura Hayano Road .... It probably played an important role as a supply base for the storage of castle rice. "

Most of the land is privately owned, and the south side is Sawayato Natural Park. Only the approach (mountain road) to the seven-sided Daimyojin in the center of the castle ruins can be entered with the kindness of the landowner. There are signs that TV coverage is not allowed, groups are not allowed to enter, and dogs are not allowed to walk, but I would like to respect the feelings of those who protect this place in a quiet environment. There is no explanation about the ruins of the castle, but there is a clear place that seems to have been an empty moat.

Most of this castle ruins are residential areas and parks, but I think that most of the other places are privately owned, but I am very grateful that the landowner has made it possible. I think the place where Suwa Shrine is located is the remains of Honmaru, but it is well maintained, and the parking lot is Arimasen.

Also known as Miwa Castle. The detailed history is unknown, but it is believed to be Hojo's castle. It's so large that it's probably a very important castle. There are many remains, and various things such as cut banks, earthworks, empty moats, Horikiri, turrets, and Kuruwa remain. There is no loss to go. Currently, it is Sawayato Natural Park, and there are playsets and lawns, so parents and children can enjoy it. However, the part of the castle ruins is partly privately owned, so you can enter it, but you must not enter beyond the rope. There is no parking lot.

Many castle ruins are currently privately owned, but thanks to the kindness of the landowner, you are allowed to visit the seven-sided shrine. Please note that entry to areas other than the permitted areas, group entry, and walking dogs are prohibited. The remains of the castle are well preserved, and I am only grateful to the landowner for their careful care! It is a wonderful village mountain where you can see the wonderful scenery of the four seasons, such as cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn. There is also a group of Shirasaka Yokoana Tombs nearby, so please take a walk while enjoying nature! (It's private land, leave a smile and don't leave any trash)

It is a lot of castle ruins (Miwa castle ruins). First of all The satoyama where this mountain castle is located is a land owned by an individual, and there are also graves of the owner's ancestors, so ★ Do not throw away trash ★ Do not enter restricted areas ★ Do not visit in groups ★ Never smoke in Yamashiro Please follow the rules properly. It is open to the public by courtesy. Please be aware of it. There is no parking lot in Yamashiro. Therefore, the road in front of "Sawayato Natural Park" (where there is a public toilet) is an unobtrusive road, so we will stop there and take a quick tour in about 20 minutes. (The road between the park and a vacant lot? (Everyone at work stops the car and has lunch or a break in the car) The entrance to Yamashiro is located at the western end of the park, which is long and narrow from east to west. And there is a narrow satoyama road that goes up to the back of the park right next to it, so you can enter Yamashiro from there. If you go trekking there, you will find the tombs of the landowners for generations. Let's say hello, "I will visit you." After that, you can see the earthworks, the empty moat, the place with a good view like a lectern, the place of the flat ground like Ninomaru, the place of the flat ground like Honmaru. At the top of the satoyama, a small shrine called "Seven-faced Daimyojin" is enshrined. About the castle It seems that the year of construction and the owner of the castle are unknown. There seems to be a record that it was a branch castle of Mr. Hojo Odawara during the Warring States period. (There is a record that when Toyotomi Hideyoshi attacked Odawara, Mr. Hojo moved his troops from this mountain castle to a suitable place in preparation for the war.) Perhaps it was under the control of a powerful family under Mr. Hojo Odawara, but the name is unknown. [Digression] It seems that a low stone wall with a little atmosphere was installed when building the park because it is a castle ruin. I wonder if Machida City has taken care to bring in the atmosphere. It's like that. It's a small stone wall, but I thought the stacking method, how to use the stones, and the texture of the stones were not bad.

I couldn't find it because I didn't check beforehand. It seemed to be located in the same place as the Shrine.

My favorite park. So peaceful. Be sure to find all the secrets, like the beautiful mural and the shrine.
