The river flow is beautiful though it is not well maintained recently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 良く整備されています。八幡岳・山城山・三谷山・右田ヶ岳へ登山、縦走することができます。ワラビ狩り水遊びも楽しめます。
Well maintained. You can climb and traverse Hachimandake, Yamashiroyama, Mitaniyama and Umidagatake. You can also enjoy bracken hunting in the water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 佐波川へ流れ込む小川の両岸が整備され広い範囲にわたって公園になっています。
もみじの広場 (らしきところ) にはおそらくもみじがいっぱい植えられていて、
季節になればなかなか見応えがありそうです。
(自分が見たときにはもう葉が落ちてしまっていました)
駐車スペースも広場の近くには数台停められる場所があり、
一番奥 (おそらく中央広場) にはかなり広いスペースがあって、
トイレも設置されています。
そこをベースに散策を楽しんだりできそうです。
ただここ数年の豪雨の影響か、
崖崩れが見受けられ、
散策路の一部が崩れてしまっていたりします。
そこまで道がきれいに整備されているわけではなさそうなので、
靴はしっかりとしたものを履いていくことをお勧めします。
防府からも近く、車で楽に来られ、
そんなに人も多くなさそうなので、
ちょっと息抜きに自然を楽しむにはいいところじゃないでしょうか。

It's close to Hofu, so you can easily come by car.
It seems that there are not so many people, so

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 此の公園駐車場が多くあります。林の中いくつもの 遊歩道があり、樹木には名前のプラカードがつけられ、ゆっくり森林浴が出来ます。東ま屋やブランコ、ベンチなど設置されていて、至れり尽くせりのスポット。お子様連れは絶好の遊び場です。公園の周りには沢があり浮き輪等持って行き水遊びも可能です。ただ難点が一つトイレがなく、二キロ先迄登れば公衆トイレ完備されて居ます。１日ゆっくり森林浴如何でしょうか？
There are many park parking lots here. There are many promenades in the forest, and trees are attached with placards with names, so you can relax in the forest. Higashi-Maya, swings, benches, etc. are installed, and it is a perfect spot. Children are a great playground. There are plenty of water around the park, so you can take a float and play with water. However, there is no one toilet, and if you climb up to 2 km away, there is a public toilet. How about slowly bathing in the forest all day long?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 訳のわからない身なりも山菜採りとは違う人々の出入りが多い気が。せめて携帯アンテナを整備して携帯がつながる環境があった方がよい。
I feel that there are many people who come and go differently from picking edible wild plants, even if they don't understand the meaning. At the very least, it is better to have a mobile antenna and an environment where mobile phones can be connected.

八幡岳、三谷山、右田ヶ岳と此所を起点に登山出来ます。
It's a place where few people come, so I recommend it personally.
You can climb Mt. Hachiman, Mt. Mitani, Mt. Utagaga and this place.
