★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 墓所に上がる石段は倒木で妨げられ、かなり荒れていました。また、このような墓所は門が閉じられているのが通常なのですが、瑞泰寺が廃寺となって管理する者がいないためでしょう、門が開いていてお参りできました。
さすがに名門の京極氏の歴代藩主のお墓。かなり立派な五輪塔や宝篋印塔が並んでいます。しかしながら門を入って正面にある墓石に「京極家累代之墓」とある以外、それぞれが誰のお墓なのかわかりません。このような大名家の墓所を何ヵ所かお参りさせてもらいましたが、ほとんどの所が「第○代藩主 ○○○○公 (戒名)」と書いた掲示がされていました。やはりそのような表示をすべきではないでしょうか。正面左手の2つの五輪塔がとりわけ巨大で屋根まで掛けてあったので、おそらくどちらかが豊岡京極家の藩祖のお殿様のお墓ではないでしょうか。
 The stone steps leading up to the graveyard were blocked by fallen trees and were quite rough. In addition, the gate of such a graveyard is usually closed, but probably because Zuitaiji is an abandoned temple and there is no one to manage it, the gate was open.
As expected, the tomb of the prestigious Kyogoku lords. There are quite a few magnificent Gorinto and Hokyointo. However, except for the tombstone in front of the gate, which says "Kyogoku Family Eon Tomb", I don't know who each is. I visited several graveyards of such a daimyo family, but most of them had a notice saying "The ○○ lord of the lord ○○○○ (Dharma name)". Shouldn't it be displayed like that? The two five-wheeled towers on the left side of the front were particularly huge and hung up to the roof, so perhaps one of them is the tomb of the lord of the Toyooka Kyogoku clan.
