★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1591年（天正19）に51歳で没した、豊臣秀吉の弟の豊臣秀長の墓所。大和・和泉・紀伊100万石を治め、大和郡山を拠点としていた秀長の遺骸は、この地に葬られた。最終官位が大納言であることから大納言塚という。
江戸時代に墓所は荒廃したが、菩提寺であった春岳院の僧である栄隆らの尽力により、1777年（安永６）に墓域が整備され、五輪塔が立てられた。現在ある五輪塔は、その時のものである。
 The graveyard of Hidenaga Toyotomi, the younger brother of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, who died in 1591 (Tensho 19) at the age of 51. The remains of Hidenaga, who ruled Yamato, Izumi, and Kii 1 million stones and was based in Yamatokoriyama, were buried here. It is called Dainagon mound because the final official position is Dainagon.
The graveyard was devastated during the Edo period, but thanks to the efforts of Shungaku-in monk, who was a Buddhist temple, the graveyard was improved and the Gorinto was erected in 1777 (Anei 6). The existing Gorinto is the one at that time.
