★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best for hikers as it offers 4 types of routes. Kids will also enjoy here as it have lots of playground and a mini golf course. There's a restaurant also and vending machines to regain some energy for your trek. Be careful also for snakes on northeast trail as I have seen 1.5 foot snake crossed my path. I decide to get back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a BBQ facility and a restaurant in the main area with food, and kids playing slides which looks like fun. The hiking treks are pretty serious, a few hours at least, and a small hike up a mountain (Mt. Ontake?) with great views, photos of which I attach!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best park in Minokamo city. At the base of the mountain there is a family orientated area with many activities available for visitors to choose from.
There’s a basketball ring, baseball pitch board (knock out numbers 1-9), a kiddie magnet fish pool, wooden pinball-like boards, and that’s just around the kiosk. Further out in the park there is a long roller slide, exercise equipment, and a soon to be opened exercise course suspended in the trees.
Further up the hill there’s another playground with swings, slides, a rabbit and a bird cage. A putter-golf course can also be enjoyed.
The best part of this park are the 777 steps leading to the top of the mountain. From the top there is a great view of the surrounding area. A new path has recently been bulldozed out the side of the mountain which has created a bit of an ugly scar but hopefully it will be beautified at some stage in the future or at least the green will grow back soon. If the climb wasn’t enough you can continue onto the neighboring Mt Fuji for an extra challenge.
A couple of other points of interest is the koi filled pond with a pull-raft, a rainbow tunnel, a sometimes running waterfall, and along the trail a cave where rebellious farmers had their headquarters over a century ago.
