★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with a few friends to use the onsen, but didn't stay at the hotel. Guest services are great and friendly, and Osaka residents get a really big discount.
The onsen is clean, well maintained, and beautifully designed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was only using hotspring. there are two area of hot spring. if one is for men, another is for women. they will be changed everyday. one hotspring has big and many kind of bath, and another hotspring has medium and some kind of bath. i used big one. it was very nice and clean. i want to go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here with my gf in the summer. Good place for families and old folks, not so good place for young couples. The pool and hot springs were crowded and the food is a bit pricy. At least the shuttle bus to and from UMEDA / Osaka JR station is free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very weird hotel. No clear making of hotel entrance. They have no Bell boys so you have to carry your luggage yourself. To make matters worse the reception in on level 1 and lifts are on level B1. So if you have any heavy luggage then may God bless you.
Food buffet ends strictly on time. So be sure to confirm the time period.
The ofru offers excellent views of the entire Osaka city. The hygiene of the place too is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I came up here on March 29, 2018 with our rental car and had it parked at the guests’ compound at a concessionary rate of 1000 Yen per 24 hours. This tourist hotel primarily targets at domestic guests satisfying the needs of all, from elderly to kids. Its open-air hot springs commanding a very view of Osaka and we enjoyed it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve stayed at many hotels in Japan throughout my 10+ years living here and I can confidently say this is the most overpriced. The rotenburo on the 8th floor is gorgeous, absolutely, and the customer service is good but other than that, it’s not worth staying here.
It’s old, they charge for extra towels etc., the walls are paper thin (so you can hear kids running through the hall at 5 am), the room is small for the price and we could hardly see anything from the window, and the food is subpar.
