★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつてバンドールのあった跡地に作られた公園です。コウズ閉店後、十数年立ち入れなかった場所が生まれ変わりました。
ベンチがいくつか設置されており、ポートアイランド市民広場とも接続しています。できたばかりですが散歩されている方が多かったです。
また、2021年7月より、大量のひまわり?が植えられ、一面「ひまわり畑」となりました。佐用町連携記念として、佐用町のひまわりの種から育てられているようです。花と緑のまち推進センターのホームページでは「ポートアイランド 北ひまわり広場」と名付けられています。
南ひまわり広場は、計算科学センター駅の北東にあります。

South Sunflower Square is northeast of Keisan Kagaku Center Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 7月終わりに来てみました。ひまわり畑は思ったより広範囲で写真を撮りに来ている方が沢山おられました。夕方だったのでひまわり達も少し下がり気味？だったかもしれません。佐用町のひまわりの種との事で、整列した可愛らしい姿を見ることができます。夏休みにお子さん連れでイイ写真が撮れそうな場所です。
