★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 眼鏡が欲しくて立ち寄り、年配の女性店員に「裸眼で最近視力が落ちてきているので眼鏡が欲しいので視力を測って欲しい」と相談しました。
しかし、「視力を測るのは30分くらいかかるし、目の疲労具合で視力は変わってくるので寝不足がない日で疲れていない日に来た方がいいです」と言われました。
私は今日は疲れているとか寝不足なんて一言も言っておらず、30分かかる視力検査をするのが面倒くさいのかな、と思いましたが、次に言われた事が「ここ（店）はけっこう高いんですよ。最低でも8万くらいはするので…町の眼鏡屋さんだったらお安く作れるのでそういうところにも行ってみた方がいいんじゃ…？」と。
あー、「この人はお金がない人だから相手しても意味ないわ」と思われたんだな、と分かりました。
以前、母の眼鏡をこの店で買ったことがあり相場は分かっていましたが、わざわざ足を運んだ客に対してこういう態度を取るお店で買わないで良かったと心底思いました。

I had bought my mother's glasses at this store before, and I knew the market price, but I was really glad I didn't buy them at a store that had this kind of attitude toward the customers who visited.
