★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful Japanese restaurant, themed around dishes seasoned/prepared with malted rice, yoghurt, and miso based sauces along with other umami seasonings. Very casual minimalist setting, ambiance should be great if you hold a gig here.

The karaage( fried chicken ) is so juicy and big!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for weekend lunch. Good thing we made a reservation since it was pretty full. Had the 1280yen lunch special that comes with the samgetan (korean chicken rice stew), one big fried chicken, rice, kimchi, and cooked bean sprouts. Pretty healthy. You can tell the stew was well cooked for hours as the umami was spread throughout my mouth!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food!!!! Found this restaurant be complete chance. Not easy to see as it is below street level, but something caught my eye and we went in. We were lucky that we arrived at 6pm because we could get a table and the place quickly filled up after that. What made it so amazing? - everything is fermented. All the food and all the drink is fermented. They have menu's in english so it is easy. The choice was more difficult because everything sounded wonderful. The dishes that we chose were simply superb. Its been a long time since I have eaten anything this enjoyable. Service was excellent and it was not expensive. We came back 3 days later for the the set lunch and that was also very, very good.
