Most of the government troops left Tajima the next day, aiming for the castle, but about 100 new government soldiers remained in the Tajima Jinya and plundered. After 10 days of patience, the farmers of Tajima broke out and surrounded the Tajima Jinya with about a thousand farmers. They didn't have powerful weapons either, but they were desperate to protect their children and their families. Then, in the early morning of September 9, farmers fought against the new government soldiers, signaled by the sounds of temple bells and guns. There is a "grave of 19 soldiers in the government army" at Jionji Temple, which is why many soldiers died from September 9th to 10th. I want to feel the regret of the soldiers who participated in the war from Hiroshima, Utsunomiya and Otawara in the distance, and also join hands with the deaths of the soldiers of the former shogunate army and the farmers of Ichii who would have died more than this. Hopefully, when I visited the history at the Commerce and Tourism Division of the Minamiaizu Town Hall and got a map, I hope that even one person will remember and tell me the history of the Jinya site on the same site. I learned this fact when I returned home from a short trip to Minamiaizu and organized photos and documents.
