由 緒
「延喜式」神名帳の宇陀郡「御井神社」に比定される。「延喜式神名帳頭註」に「御井素戔嗚子也母稲葉八上姫」とみえ、御井神は木俣神（きのまたのかみ）の別名。「大和志」に「在檜牧村今称食井明神」とある。気比神とは伊奢沙和気神（いざさわけのかみ）のことで一名を御食津大神ともいい、食物を主宰する。
内牧川沿いに国道３６９号線（伊勢本街道)を走っていると大きな鳥居を見つける。車は鳥居の横の道を入って参道に並行して本殿方向に走ると、大きな駐車場がある。私が参拝した日は雨で、地面がぬかるんでいたので、反対側の公共施設の駐車場を使わせてもらった。

History
It is compared to "Mii Shrine" in Uda-gun of the "Enki-shiki" Shinto shrine. It seems to be "Mother Inaba Yagamihime" in "Enki-shiki Shinmeicho", and Miigami is another name for Ki no mata no kami. "Yamatoshi" says "Hinoki Makimura, now known as Shokui Myojin." Kibijin is Izasa Wakijin, and one of them is also called Okamitsu Okami, who presides over food.
If you drive along National Route 369 (Ise Honkaido) along the Uchimaki River, you will find a large torii gate. If you enter the road next to the torii gate and drive toward the main shrine in parallel with the approach, you will find a large parking lot. The day I worshiped was rainy and the ground was muddy, so I was allowed to use the parking lot of the public facility on the other side.
