中の茶屋交差点から団地へ歩いて向かっていると、子供達のふざけ合う遊び声が段々と大きく聞こえてきました。春の陽光を受けて楽しく遊んでいる子供達の姿と自分の当時の姿が重なり懐かしい記憶が甦ります。
(美萩野三角公園)は水路が流れる下り坂付近十字路(右は末恒へ、左は三津へ)にあり、美萩野二丁目町内の方々が大切に整美されています。
