Don't miss the private houses in the Tohoku region. The parking lot in the folk village is small, so a parking lot along the national highway is recommended.
加	加川良太 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 博物館は有料だけど、古民家を見学する方は入場無料✨ 岩手県のいろいろな所から移築して建てた古民家がたくさん展示してある。一軒一軒中に入りいろいろな造りや当時の様子が良く分かる。中に入るとその建物がどこから移築されて来て、誰の所有だったとか、その家の特徴を説明してくれる音声が流れるのでとても分かり易い。ただ説明してくれる人が地元の方言で説明してくれるので、方言に馴染みのない人だと何を話しているのか分からないところが沢山あると思う。それでも昔の暮らしの様子がよく分かり、けっこう広いので一通り見ると良い運動になる? 真	真央潤 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ とても広いところで、山を切り崩して造った所なのでちょっとした運動になりました。伊達藩と南部藩の境らしく、50年もの間諍いがあったそうです。知らなかったことだったのでとても勉強になりました。入場無料で時間が合えばガイドさんもいらっしゃいます。こちらの時間に合わせてガイドして頂いて、為になりました。何回か来たくなる場所でした。 It was a very large place, and it was a little exercise because it was made by cutting down a mountain. n	nissy naka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ これはすごいです… 電車の待ち時間に立ち寄ってみましたが、とてもとてもそんな時間では周りきれない展示(家屋)の多さ…しかもどれも精巧で内容も充実しています(例えばある家屋では山羊が飼われていました！)しかも無料です… 僕のお気に入りは入り口近くの竪穴式住居群です。縄文だけならず平安期や室町期の実物大の竪穴式住居まで並べて比較できるのは恐らく世界でここだけではないでしょうか。世界に誇れる場所だと思います。ディズニーやUSJではないですが次は友人と一緒に来てみたいです。 this is great… I stopped by while waiting for the train, but there were so many exhibits (houses) that I couldn't get around in that time ... and all of them were elaborate and rich in content (for example, a goat was kept in one house). It's free ... My favorite is the pit-houses near the entrance. Perhaps this is the only place in the world where you can compare not only the Jomon period but also the full-scale pit-houses of the Heian period and the Muromachi period side by side. I think it's a place you can be proud of in the world. I'm not Disney or USJ, but I would like to come with a friend next time.
m	ma no on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北上駅からかなり離れているから徒歩は厳しい。駅前のおでんせプラザぐろーぶで自転車の有料貸し出しがあり、それなら10分ほどで行けます。古民家だらけの素晴らしいテーマパークでした。山の中だから空気がひんやりとしていて雰囲気も最高。次は時間を作ってじっくりと見学したいと思った。 It is difficult to walk because it is quite far from Kitakami station. Bicycles can be rented for a fee at Odense Plaza Globe in front of the station, which can be reached in about 10 minutes. It was a wonderful theme park full of old folk houses. Because it is in the mountains, the air is cool and the atmosphere is great. Next time, I wanted to take some time to take a closer look.
お	おがちゃん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北上天勝地駐車場道路向かいに大きな看板「みちのく民俗村」が入口目印です。坂道を登った先右側に無料駐車場があります。おそらく20台程停めます。受付にて敷地内のパンフレットを貰って歩くと分かりやすいです。なお、ここは、博物館以外は無料です。無料で休憩出来る長屋があり、ゆっくりすることが出来ます。この年になるまで、岩手の歴史に深く触れることなく来ましたが、郷土の歴史を知ることが出来ました。この地が南部藩（盛岡藩）と伊達藩（仙台藩）の境界だとは…恥ずかしいお話し…知りませんでした。非常に勉強になりました。また、めったに見ることが出来ない昭和初期の消防車がありました。建物壁面には当時の写真が掲示しており、古い写真では、大正1年の消防団員集合写真が掲示されておりました。ゆうに110数年以上前の写真に感動しました。小息子共々長居させていただきました。その後、国見山にも行きました！ Kitakami Tenshochi Parking Lot The large sign "Michinoku Folk Village" across the road is a landmark. There is a Nagaya where you can take a break for free, so you can relax. Until this year, I came without deeply touching the history of Iwate, but I was able to know the history of my hometown. I didn't know that this place was the boundary between the Southern Clan (Morioka Clan) and the Date Clan (Sendai Clan) ... an embarrassing story. I learned a lot. In addition, there was a fire engine in the early Showa period that was rarely seen. A photo of the time was posted on the wall of the building, and in the old photo, a group photo of the fire brigade members of the 1st year of the Taisho era was posted. I was really impressed by the photos taken over 110 years ago. I stayed with my little son for a long time. After that, I went to Mt. Kunimi!
