Sake and winery panel are good for photography. The shrine is located in the deepest where you can pray and make merit. Too many tourists. You must take a time to explore this place.
R	Rebecca Ungi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an experience! I visited Japan for a holiday and my visit to Meiji Jingu has got to be my favourite day. It is an absolutely stunning place to visit and would would not even know how close you are to the city around you. When you arrive you walk through these beautiful wooden gates, the detail is out of this world. Whilst walking around we were greeted by a group of students who asked to show us around. They wanted to practice there English and it absolutely made our day! I was a similar age to these students as I was a student myself so we were able to shear so much information. The students all told me loads of information about the shrine that I would not have known otherwise. They taught me how to properly wash my hard respectfully and how to prey at the shrine in the correct manner. This is something I would have never done without them as I would never want to seem disrespectful. This really made the day the best experience ever. During our visit we were also lucky enough to witness a wedding at the shrine. This is a rare occasion and not often seen so it was an extremely lucky day. Once way had walked around the whole shrine it leads you back to the city so you can easily carry on with your day. We parted way with the student and it really was a pleasure to meet them all. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are ever in the area, and done be scared to ask or accept help. Everyone is so friendly and will try to help the best they can.

If you're lucky you can see a traditional wedding here. Please be respectful to the people who have a specific occasion in the area (praying, getting married, etc.)

It is beautiful in any season due to their wide variety of trees and meticulous grounds maintenance. It is extremely accessible and free. Consider for a visit whether you live here or visiting.

I was fortunate enough to go a little bit after it had rained, so it was much less busy than it typically is. If you can go during less popular hours, it really helps to make this place even more of a serene little getaway within Tokyo. It's a great place for a nice walk, and if you're in Tokyo I would definitely recommend checking this place out.
