停車しない列車もあるので、要注意！

From the platform of the station, you can see the Shinkansen crossing the Toyokawa railway bridge at a tremendous speed.
Some trains do not stop, so be careful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 飯田線電車が日中約30分に1本停車する。名鉄は線路を共用しているけどこの区間はJRの所有で、その為豊橋に乗り入れられる本数は制限されている。駅は鉄橋を渡ってすぐの所で豊橋から5分で到着する。線路をアンダーパスする県道沿いに駅への入り口がある。
The Iida Line train stops once every 30 minutes during the day. Meitetsu shares the track, but this section is owned by JR, which limits the number of cars that can be used in Toyohashi. The station is just across the iron bridge and 5 minutes from Toyohashi. There is an entrance to the station along the prefectural road that underpasses the track.

この区間を名古屋鉄道の電車が通りますが、全て通過します。
この区間は、JR飯田線と名古屋鉄道が線路を共有しているけど、あくまでもJRが主体の区間だから、名鉄は線路を借りてる感じですね。
風が強いと運転見合せになるからご注意を。
This station and the next funabachi station are JR Tokai stations.
The train of Nagoya Railroad passes through this section, but it all passes.
In this section, JR Iida Line and Nagoya Railroad share a railroad track, but since JR is the main section, it is a feeling that Meitetsu is borrowing railway tracks.
If the wind is strong, be careful not to drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 豊橋駅から名鉄名古屋本線との分岐点平井信号所までの共用区間にある飯田線の駅。当然名鉄は全て通過。ＪＲは基本豊川行のみ停車。1時間2本しか停車しないので要注意。線路は上下線共ＪＲ東海所属と思われている方が多い様ですが、実際は下り線はＪＲ東海、上り線は名鉄所属で、線路保守はＪＲ東海に委託されています。乗り入れ本数は、ＪＲ東海、名鉄共1時間6本です。上下線ホームの間に駅舎がある東海道線弁天島駅の様な変わった構造です。
A station on the Iida Line on a shared section from Toyohashi Station to the Hirai Signal Station, a junction with the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line. Naturally all Meitetsu passed. JR stops only for the basic Toyokawa line. Be careful as only two stops per hour. It seems that many of the tracks are considered to belong to JR Tokai for both the upper and lower lines, but in fact the down line belongs to JR Tokai and the up line belongs to Meitetsu, and the maintenance of the tracks is outsourced to JR Tokai. The number of passengers is 6 per hour for both JR Tokai and Meitetsu. It has an unusual structure like Bentenjima Station on the Tokaido Line with a station building between the platform.

This is a shared station where the Iida Line and the Meitetsu Main Line run, but only the Iida Line stops. All Meitetsu vehicles will pass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雰囲気最高。駅としては素晴らしい。上り列車が2分早く着いて2分早く発車した。スマホ2台で確認したので間違いない。かなり驚いた。11時32分の豊橋行き。
The atmosphere is great. Great as a station. The up train arrived 2 minutes early and departed 2 minutes early. I confirmed it with two smartphones, so there is no doubt. I was quite surprised. To Toyohashi at 11:32.
