素戔嗚尊
（すさのおのみこと）
→素戔嗚尊は、江戸時代に当神社に勧請された。当時は「牛頭天王」として祀られ、売布神社も「祇園社」と呼ばれた。
→主祭神は「大賣布命」(おおめふのみこと)であるとする説も存在する。
◎江戸時代には、八幡信仰も盛んで、現在の境内末社である「八幡宮」も手厚く祀られていた。
