★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 立派な神社で、初詣に来られているかたもいた。階段は急に感じるが、段数が少なく間もなく本殿に到着する。丹後大震災（1927年3月7日）により、本殿、上屋ともに全壊したそうだ。神主はなく、村支配だそうだ。神社巡りをしていて立ち寄ったのだが、神域に神が宿り、神格の高さが感じられた。古老の申伝えによると、天正十年三月（一五八二）に熊野三社大権現を勧請したという。駐車スペースは皆無ですが、近くの孝嶽庵前に広場があります。雨天時はぬかるんでいるため注意が必要です。
