Meat Marutomi Nishikyōgoku has a wide selection of beef, chicken, and pork as well as fresh vegetables, eggs, rice, and bento’s ready to go. The meat ranges from normal cuts / quality that you would find at a grocery store all the way up to A5 Waygu - both options at great prices too. I come here about 1x a month and personally, Friday mornings are the best for me as everything is fresh and fully stocked and it’s not as busy as Saturday. I’ve been on a Sunday as well and it’s not bad at all, might be a little harder to find a specific item though (like a prime tenderloin section for a beef Wellington), but they will still have all the usual cuts out, no worries. Do yourself a favor and make a visit for some nice meat.
