★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本が誇るサーフィンスポットです。東北大震災で被災し復旧工事中ですがパワフルに波がブレイクする最高のポイントです。工事中なので工事関係者に迷惑をかけないように注意してください。ゴミは必ず持ち帰ってください。
It is a surfing spot that Japan is proud of. It was damaged by the Great Tohoku Earthquake and is undergoing restoration work, but it is the best point for powerful waves to break. Please be careful not to inconvenience the people involved in the construction as it is under construction. Please be sure to take your trash home with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2017年10月5日に訪れました。仙台港周辺を訪れるのは、6年ぶりでした。コンテナトレーラーが大渋滞を起こしていて、窓を開けて走っていたら、排気ガスの臭いがして、空気が汚い感じがしました。
今年は、雨の日が続いていたので、久々に晴れの日のお出かけでした。平日の昼頃に訪れましたが、サーフィンをする人が結構いました。
コンテナターミナルが近いこともあり、大きな貨物船が行き来しているのが見えました。
新しい防潮堤の工事の最中でしたが、自分には、防潮堤が必要なのか疑問です。
超望遠レンズを購入したので、サーフィンの撮影をしてみました。初めてのサーフィン撮影でしたが、短時間の割には、なかなかナイスな写真が撮れました。
晴れた日に、また訪れようと思います。
I visited on October 5, 2017. It was the first time in six years to visit the area around Sendai Port. The container trailer was in a heavy traffic jam, and when I was running with the windows open, I could smell the exhaust gas and feel the air was dirty.
This year, it was a rainy day, so we went out on a sunny day after a long time. We visited around noon on weekdays, but there were quite a few surfers.
Due to the proximity of the container terminal, I saw large cargo ships coming and going.
I was working on a new seawall, but I wonder if I need a seawall.
Since I purchased a super telephoto lens, I tried surfing. It was my first surfing shoot, but I was able to take nice photos for a short time.
I will visit again on a sunny day.

たまに弁当を買って食べるとなるとここへ来てました
3.11以前を知らないので、ここが仙台市民のサーフィンのメッカと知ったのは仕事に来るようになってからの一年後くらい…(^^;
景色は外洋に向かってますが、工業港らしい風景です
平日昼は4tロング(中型)を停めても大丈夫なくらい広いです
トイレもありますので、利用には問題ないかと
夜間はバリケードがしてあるので入れません

I came here when I bought a lunch and eat it
I don't know before 3.11, so I knew this was Sendai's surfing mecca about a year after I came to work ... (^^;
The scenery is going to the open ocean, but it looks like an industrial port
It is wide enough to stop 4t long (medium) on weekday noon
There is a restroom, so there is no problem in use
Because it is barricade at night, we cannot enter

太平洋に面しているため、波はコンスタントにあり波がないという日はあまり少ないようです。※最近は波がない〜…2020年8月現在
ウネリは厚みがあり乗りやすい方だが、ウネリの水の量がしっかりとあるためサイズが上がった時はウネリは掘れ上がりチューブメイクも可。
それこそ、地形がよくブレイクポイントも定まっているのでサイズが上がってもジャンクコンディションになりにくく、グレートな波になりやすい印象です。

The swell is thick and easy to ride, but since the amount of water in the swell is solid, the swell can be dug up and tube makeup is possible when the size increases.
That's the impression that the terrain is good and the break points are fixed, so even if the size goes up, it is hard to get junk conditions and it tends to be a great wave.
