★ ★ ★ ★ ★ このピークは奥象山と名札が付いていますが、これは登山家の方が象山の奥にあるからと便宜的に名付けたのが広まったもので古来からの名前ではありません。地元の方は越山や母袋山と呼ぶそうですが定説はありません。そして興味深い盛り上がりの地形も、長野県の史跡目録では母袋山将軍塚古墳となっていますが、どうも形状的に古墳とは思えません(過去に発掘調査されたわけではないので本当はどうなのかは不明ですが)。それでも歴史的には何か意味がある場所だったのではと思います。
This peak has a name tag with Oku-Izan, but this is a popular name for mountain climbers because it's in the back of Izan, and it is not an ancient name. It is said that local people call it Koshiyama or Mother Fukuyama, but there is no definite theory. And the interesting ups and downs are also in the historical site catalog of Nagano Prefecture, and it is Mabutakusan Shogun Tsuka 墳, but I do not think that it is a tumulus in shape (it has not been excavated in the past, so it is unknown exactly how But). Still, I think it was historically something that had meaning.
