★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 松代藩第三代藩主「真田伊豆守幸道」による開基真田家のお寺。奥様の「豊姫」のお墓もある。豊姫は伊達政宗の孫の息女。彼女が真田家に嫁ぐ際に杏の木を持ってきたことで、松代では杏が栽培されるようになったのだとか。幾たびもの火災により当時から残っているのは山門（1677年登録有形文化財）のみになっている。江戸時代に再建された本堂と鐘楼（共に1833年）も登録有形文化財になっており、その雰囲気は歴史を感じる事ができる。
A temple of the Sanada clan, which was opened by the third feudal lord of the Matsushiro clan, "Sanada Izumori Komichi". There is also the grave of his wife, Toyohime. Toyohime is the grandson of Date Masamune. It is said that apricots were cultivated in Matsushiro because she brought an apricot tree when she married the Sanada clan. Due to many fires, only Sanmon (a tangible cultural property registered in 1677) remains from that time. The main hall and bell tower (both in 1833), which were rebuilt in the Edo period, are also registered tangible cultural properties, and the atmosphere can be felt in history.
