Matsuno-Odera - Maizuru

I visited the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage, and although the gate was under construction, it was a very tasteful and quaint temple. There are stairs from the main hall to Goshuinsho, but you can also go from the slope with a little detour.

Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage No. 29 Sacred Ground. It is a temple famous for Hayagriva Hayagriva. You need to be careful about speed as you will go up a fairly narrow road.

I visited from Higashi-Maizuru station. I went by taxi, but it cost about 1,000 yen more than the transfer information app displayed. Not everything will be as per the app, so I think that may be the case. There are few temples in the northern part of Kyoto prefecture among the 33 places in Saigoku, and it seems that there was no entrance fee so far, but there seems to be cooperation for parking fees for cars and motorcycles. The precincts have a quiet and solemn atmosphere, probably because they are far from the city. Large trees of cedar and ginkgo also make us feel the history. The people at the temple were also polite, and they took great care of me. I got a red stamp and went down the mountain to buy a small item of Hayagriva. On the way back, I was planning to have lunch at a restaurant near Higashi-Maizuru Station, and headed on foot. On the way, I realized that there are people who seem to be heading to Matsuo-ji Temple on foot, and there are people who are walking to visit even now. I bought tea at Matsunodera station on my way home on foot. JR also seems to have reduced the number of trains due to the timetable revision, and there were no flights available around 12:00. At the supermarket near Higashi-Maizuru Station, there was a certain amount of manpower, so I felt that the difference between the city and the surrounding area was increasing.
