The parking lot is rather wide
It was easy to stop.
As for the autumn leaves, the weather is fair.
It was early November
Many of them withered.
What does it mean to see with a pass?
I got the impression that it was different.

It was opened by King Takaoka at the beginning of the Heian period, and it is said that Emperor Shirakawa was in the middle of it.
I went there a few years ago and I especially recommend the autumn leaves season!

The temple is famous for its autumn colors, but the green season was also beautiful. The sculpture of the main shrine is very wonderful in Nakai Gonji's work. The construction of the main shrine is also beautiful and spectacular. The Kobo waterfall in the back has a small amount of water, but it is covered with moss, and the appearance of the water dripping was very nice.

It's the most beautiful place to go when you go to the autumn leaves. The building is also old and worth seeing. An admission fee of 300 yen is required.

This is one of the Kansai flower temples
Autumn leaves are famous in the neighborhood
Its beauty is also described in Yukio Mishima's "Kinkakuji".
The three-storied pagoda surrounded by autumn leaves is a picture
The main shrine is also surrounded by autumn leaves, but there is an admission fee (300 yen) to go here, and you will have to climb a relatively steep staircase.
At this treasure hall, you can see the statue of General Fukasa and the statue of Vajradhara, which are said to have been made by Kaikei.
The garden near the treasure hall was said to have been created by Hosokawa Fujitaka.
Thankfully, the parking lot was free even during the autumn colors (as of 3rd year of Reiwa).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit hard to find, but the journey was worth it! One of the most amazing places to enjoy autumn foliage in Japan, but you definitely want to use a car to get here.
