Ok Manyo. Good effort at allowing patrons with tattoos in support of the Olympics. However, I believe you’ll gain about 7 new customers in the next year with this new rule. 1) since must be no bigger than 11cm, covered by seal (100¥). 2) can only use maximum of 2 seals. 3) Even if you have tattoos and just want to eat there you are not allowed. It’s 2020, get with it. FYI- I don’t have tattoos and have lived in Japan for 20 years. There is a difference between irazumi and so art. Photo provided to show only the discrimination that basically allowed anywhere in the world.

Aweful organisation and staff service. I can’t even count how many things are not clear, not clearly mentioned, staff is not helpful. It started wrong when we tried to book a private Onsen room for one hour and the staff insisting that the price was 9000yen (!) for two hours. Very different than what was written on the website, and we had to argue 15min before the staff finally admit his mistake and allow us to book 1 hour for the normal price. Then the rest was awefull... - not clear if we should wear Kimono or pyjama and if it’s free or not (and staff was unclear to answer us) - access to the rooftop hard to find (and staff not being helpful). Finally figured out by ourself that the access is from the middle of the Game Center (...!?) - access to private room unclear, asked staff 3 times (and we speak Japanese). Had walk trough a restaurant and take random turns to finally find it. - at the restaurant floor, it’s very chaotic, messy and disorganized. No staff coming to you and sitting you. We finally sitters somewhere by ourself and were puzzled because there is a tablet to order food + a bell to order to staff directly + food seems to be in self service with a different cashier. Not clear how to proceed so we called the staff which got mad at us to calling him with the ordering bell just to ask a question. - food is expensive and small - inside the Game Center, nobody and nowhere to clearly explain us how does everything work (must buy some special coins to play, different coins for different areas). Not to mentioned that one of the game machine had bugs and didn’t start even after I payed... - nobody to tell us what to do to dispose of our used kimono. Had to ask again and felt like we were annoying them by asking it. They didn’t even answer clearly and just took the kimono out of our hand.

Will come back. Highly recommend to try their room facilities. The huge tub was nice for soaking. We simply loved the hot springs. There are free shuttle buses to and from Yokohama Station. The early morning view of watching the sun come up over the bay was lovely. Most people are willing to accommodate your needs.

Good, good spa, Available to enjoy for a whole day since various facilities like massage, Japanese style restaurant, large relax space, stone dry sauna(ganban yoku in Japanese) lodging, etc. But crowd because of popular, despite of not cheap admission fee. The number of bath is not many and not big space. Gradient in water seems to be not hard, quality seems to be good. taste facility atmosphere 4 service 3 others +

Manyo club has been a favourite of mine for a very long time. If you've been to Tokyo and visited Ueno Onsen in Odaiba, then you will understand what it is like to be here. Ueno Onsen is very fun and there is so much to do. Basically Manyo club is the same as Ueno Onsen but on sterioids and with less tourists. For a start, Manyo club has 6 or 7 floors all of which serve a specific purpose. Once you've waited in-line to get a wristband you take off your shoes and put them in a bag. Then you go and pick a yukata (kind of kimono dress thing) and take it into the lockers rooms. Take off all your clothes and pack them and the yukata into the locker. Take a towel and rinse your body in the showers. Then just go around and enjoy all the baths and saunas. Every hour in the hot sauna the staff will invite you inside. You should take a seat and enjoy the show because 2 staff will pour essential oils onto the heater and the steam will create a really nice aroma. Then the staff will wave a large fan so that it hits your skins and goes deep into your pores. This lasts for around 20 minutes but feel free to leave if it get's too hot. As with every onsen, there is an option to get a deep cleansing body scrub usually from a middle-aged woman, which is slightly wierd because you are naked at this point. Anyway, just take it as it comes and you can pay using your wristband. All toiletries are free so take a shave and brush your teeth before drying and getting into your yukata. Now you have 6 or 7 floors to discover. Go to the arcade, visit the rooftop for a perfect view of Yokohama, get a foot massage, take a nap in the napping corner, watch t.v, eat, drink......you get the point. This is my favorite thing to when slumbering around the busy city all week. So if you want to get a real cultural/traditional/city experience, this place has it all!!!!!

Only used the spa area, it is very traditional and you must follow the police rules and etiquette. The staff were probably some of the most friendliest hotel staff. The room was the perfect set up for traveling with children. At the weekend there is a brilliant value for money.

There's so much to say about this place. If you want a relaxation resort, this is the place to go. The entrance fee is around $20 and it includes access to the major baths and relaxation rooms. You can also stay overnight for around $15. If you do, you can fall asleep in the reclining chairs. You can also rent out small capsule rooms for around $60, but availability depends on the season. There are restaurants, a video game arcade center, a manga corner, massage services, and vending machines. The baths include all the amenities you need to groom yourself, including razors for men, as well as hair grooming products and blow dryers. If I come back to Japan and want to stay somewhere on a budget, I would stay here.
