ア	アップルちゃん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本橋　黒門市場から徒歩圏の都会のお寺ですが、幕末に新選組の旅宿（屯所）になった歴史があるお寺です。年に数回　お墓参りに参っています。一般の方の拝観は受付けてられませんが、門前に新選組大坂旅宿跡の碑が建っています。萬福寺を開いた僧開尊は、戦国武将　前田利家の弟にあたります。　この萬福寺は、幕末期に一時的な期間だけ新選組の大坂屯所にあてら　　　　れていました。　新選組大坂屯所の隊長に谷三兄弟の次男谷万太郎が任命され20人ほどの隊士が詰めていたようです。お寺ばかりがいくつもある界隈は、今でも大阪市きっての文教地区です。なかなか大きなお寺ですが、残念ながら、当時の建物は昭和４４年の火災で全て消失し、新撰組を偲ぶものは何ひとつ残っていません。 2022.3.21 天王寺付近凄く車混んでいました。人も多かったです。 It is an urban temple within walking distance from Nihonbashi Kuromon Market, but it has a history of becoming a Shinsengumi inn (tunsho) at the end of the Edo period.
