K	Ken Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To get to the Maiko Marine Promenade, catch the train to JR Maiko Station on the JR Kobe Line. Once there, you'll be totally blown away by the size and grandeur of the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge. Adjacent to promenade are two curious houses. These houses are the former residence of the Kinoshita Family and the former residence of Sanji Muto. These houses seem out of character when placed in contrast to the 21st Century, that is the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge.

The cafe closed at 4:30 PM, but there are still places to sit and enjoy the view after it closes. It's a great place to see bridges as you've never seen them before, and the glass walk is challengingly fun!
S	Shingo Sae-Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Trip was made back then on 6 Dec 2019, 2 years before the Covid-19 Pandemic hit) Stayed over in Akashi 2 years ago on this very day and was able to witness the grand scale and beauty of Akashi-Kaikyō Bridge, currently the longest suspension bridge in the world. The bridge lights up brilliantly at night, standing out like a beacon in the night. Unfortunately, we didn’t have to climb up or walk along the bridge as our time was spent visiting Himeji Castle. At least we got to admire it from afar.
F	FarEastFurqans on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great rest stop to learn about the bridge and its history, get some great food and see some awesome views. It’s a little off the beaten path with respect to the highway, but worth the detour. There’s a train station across the street if you’re not driving.
