★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「町屋神社」は袋川(国府川)沿い遊歩道、桜並木の傍に鎮座しています。
町屋は古代より周辺地域と共に因幡の国の政治文化経済の中心地でした。
町屋集落内、案内表示板がある広い交差点の片隅に何かの土台であった大石が何かを物語ります。
「町屋神社」へは袋川方向から集落のこの交差点を左折し左方角へ目を注いで進んでいくと民家と民家の間の細い路が袋川に向かっています。
進んで行くと「町屋神社」の背後に到着、正面に廻ります。
集落からの最短距離はこの路と思われますが、背後を見ないで正面から進もうとすれば国府橋側から進むのです。
(国府中央橋側から進んでも背後を見ながら進むことになります)
「町屋神社」は集落からの最短距離のルートから眺めた角度が美しい。
境内に桜古木の太くて先が細くなった根本が拝殿の直近に迫っていて迫力を感じます。神社は今日も道行く人や町屋の人々の生活を御守りです。
 "Machiya Shrine" is located along the Fukurogawa (Kokufugawa) promenade and alongside the cherry trees.
Since ancient times, Machiya has been the center of Inaba's politics, culture, and economy along with the surrounding area.
Ōishi, which was the foundation of something in the corner of a wide intersection with a signboard in the Machiya village, tells something.
To Machiya Shrine, turn left at this intersection of the village from the direction of Fukurogawa, and keep your eyes on the left side, and you will see a narrow road between the private houses toward Fukurogawa.
As you proceed, you will arrive behind the "Machiya Shrine" and go around in front.
The shortest distance from the village seems to be this road, but if you try to proceed from the front without looking at the back, you will proceed from the Kofu Bridge side.
(Even if you proceed from the Kokufu Chuo Bridge side, you will be looking at the back)
The angle of "Machiya Shrine" seen from the shortest route from the village is beautiful.
The thick and tapered roots of old cherry blossom trees approach the front of the worship hall in the precincts, and I feel the power. Shrines today still protect the lives of people who pass by and people in townhouses.
