It was only an 8 minute walk from where I stayed and with the 4.6 star rating, I couldn’t let this Steak joint pass on my list. Me and my friend went inside and was greeted by the owner of this place. Atmosphere felt exactly like South-American style with Mexican music playing and with decorations that reminded me of Puerto Rico. We received a warm welcome by the owner. He was very socializing, and even asked us where we’re from. We told him that we’re from the USA and that we speak English, and apologize for not knowing how to speak Japanese. Even though he didn’t speak English fluently, he made sure that we feel comfortable at his restaurant. He asked one of his younger staff (our waiter) to come serve us because only he could speak English fluently at a minimal level. He explained to us that his boss wants us to know that his restaurant is the number 1 restaurant on Tokyo for steak, and that if we should order the steak, it needs to be cooked at rare or medium rare for the perfect taste. So me and my friend decided to order the 600 grams steak (approximately 20 ounces) for 11,800 yen (approximately $105 US dollars) total and it was absolutely stunning! Yes, it’s not the cheapest steak but not the most expensive either! Steak came out sizzling and fresh on a hot black plate! I don’t know what kind of sauce and spice the owner put on his steak, but it was out of this world! Every bite was very juicy and tasty! They have some dipping sauce on the side that will even make the steak taste even better! If anyone decided to give this place a try, make sure to try the steak with the pepper dipping sauce! It’s amazing! The owner was so nice, he even gave us some mash potatoes topped with cheese that he fired it up with his small torch for free as a parting gift! I highly recommend this place for every tourist in Tokyo who prefers good amazing steak that isn’t as expensive as Kobe!
