★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cafe used to be called Seven but the owner changed so the name changed as well. The quality of food and drink is good. What is known there is giant egg sandwich. But everything they serve is quite large. If you are going there with someone else, you should get just one dish and share it with the other. The drinks are normal sizes but the food are...really huge! And it's pretty busy around 5 and 6pm so avoid the time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such mixed feelings about this place. The vibe is so up my alley - it’s like a hip Berlin cafe and clear cultural hub of the youth - but everything else was a bit off. Service was fine, but the coffee and mega toast loaf weren’t anything to write home about.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ GO EARLY TO PUT YOUR NAME IN! We wish we knew this, because we went at 1pm and they did not have any seating until 4:30pm. We decided to put our name in for the next day, and the earliest they had was 1:30pm!
They only have seatings every hour on the half (12:30, 1:30, etc.)
We got the infamous egg sandwich--it came out super fast! So delicious and HUGE! Totally worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed their food a lot, especially the egg sandwich! Their salad is awesome too with a cheap price. Definitely worth a try if you’re visiting Kyoto. It’s a very popular place and it seems like they have the system for the customers to go in every one hour starting from their opening time. So it’s probably better to go like, let’s say at 11:30 and make a reservation at 12:30 or 13:30 and so on so forth. Advanced reservation through phone is only available for the round at 11:30.
