★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will begin by writing that I thought the meal was overpriced and that this made me doubt between 3 and 4 stars.
I ended up giving four because the delicacy of the flavours in the food and the almost exclusively Italian wine list.
We had the dinner course which played with flavours in a very subtle way. If it hadn't been clearly Italian food I would have described the delicacy as Japanese. The carpaccio was my favourite with excellent vegetables and a nice play of temperatures and textures. I also found the mini-raviolis (I forget the specific name of the pasta) to be excellent. A great use of 2 different types of cheese and pasta.
The only thing that was off apart from the price was the temperature at which the wines were served. They should really be careful with that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food but what's the point when they allow people to smoke indoors ruining non-smokers' experience.
The first time I was there, the experience was great. The food was great, not overpriced, and I enjoyed the chill atmosphere of the restaurant situated right by the Meguro river. That said, it became evident that I was just lucky this time.
The second time, was a different story. The service started out fine but after the appetizers, my girlfriend and I caught the all too familiar whiff of cigarette smoke which seem to be almost impossible to avoid when dining out in Tokyo, coming down from the tables downstairs. Maybe they were trying to separate the smoking and non-smoking parties by putting them in different floors but it wasn't helping at all.
From that point on, we had to we were hot boxing in cigarette smoke until we left the place.
I fail to understand why these chefs who I assume want to put out good food so customers could enjoy their creation, allow smoking indoors ruining their carefully crafted food and it's flavors while simultaneously destroying their non-smoking customers experience. The majority of people do not smoke for god's sake.
From that day on I haven't set foot in this restaurant and I probably never will.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful small restaurant adjacent to the Meguro River. Services highly attentive and friendly. Great selection of wines both by the glass and of course by bottles. Prices fixe menu is 6,600 yen consisting choice of appetizers pasta main and dessert. Very satisfied.
