田	田邉美菜緒 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 震災の半年前に近くに寄ったので、ついでに見てみました。珍しい作りの教会だったと思います。側の庭も綺麗に手入れされていました。人気はないものの、古い歴史ある教会が現存していたのは珍しく思ったものでした。 I visited there half a year before the earthquake, so I took a look at it. I think it was a rare church. The garden on the side was also kept clean. Although not popular, it was unusual for an old, historic church to exist.

小	小宮山昭一 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旧ハリストス正教会教会堂(聖使徒イオアン会堂) 2020/10/03 信者ではないけれど、最近教会の写真撮る事多いなぁ。明治13年（1880）に創建。1978年の宮城沖地震で損壊したのを機に、現在の中州に移転。2011年の震災で教会堂は損壊、2018年に復元されて石巻市に寄贈。現存する木造教会としては、国内最古のもの。　1階入ったところは畳敷き。　2階への階段は昔の日本家屋にあるようなかなり急な勾配の階段。現在は管理が石巻市なので政教分離の方針で礼拝とかは行われておらず、歴史文化財として保存されており、内部見学もOK。 Former Harristos Orthodox Church (Holy Apostle Ioan Church) 2020/10/03 I'm not a believer, but I often take pictures of churches these days. The stairs to the 2nd floor are quite steep stairs like those in old Japanese houses. Currently, the city is managed by Ishinomaki City, so worship services are not held due to the policy of separation of church and state, and it is preserved as a historical and cultural property, and internal tours are also possible.
