I am a graduate of Kyoto College of Health and Hygiene. I would like to inform those who are thinking of going on to the first clinical laboratory department of this vocational school. The explanation will be quite long, but I hope it will be helpful as much as possible. I will explain my experience at this vocational school. Please note that the explanation is offensive to current students and graduates, but I personally find it difficult. First of all, if you can afford the money and time, we recommend that you go to university rather than vocational school. The tuition fee for a vocational school is cheaper than that for a university, but it is really difficult. This vocational school had a fairly hard curriculum. You will be sent to school until just before the national examination. Students who do not pass the graduation exam will be supplemented and study at school from 9:10 in the morning to 8:30 in the evening. The contents of the supplementary course will be solved earnestly from the past questions of the mock exam. This make-up class lasts about 3 weeks. I am forced to take supplementary classes, so I cannot secure my own study time. The graduation exam is much more difficult than the national exam. The first time, 80% of the students will drop. And the second retest is as difficult as the first. The pass rate will increase from the first time, but 30 people will receive and about 15 people will drop. And if you fail this re-examination, unfortunately you will have to repeat a year or drop out. There are many more subjects in vocational schools than in universities. Some subjects, such as Chinese and Korean, are not directly related to medical treatment. In the third grade, if you drop even one of the many compulsory subjects in the re-examination, you will repeat a year. In the case of university, it is okay to drop it to some extent. In addition, it is a difficult place because it is 3 years and there is no room for 4 years university. Some people say that they can work faster in three years, but I don't think there is a difference in one year. Rather, the reality is that university graduates have higher salaries and are more likely to find employment in an academically-educated society. I haven't entered the Department of Clinical Laboratory II, so I'm not sure about the details, but the content of the class is the same. The second clinical laboratory department is 4 years old, but since it is nighttime, studying while working is a prerequisite. Also, in hospital training, the vocational school lasts for three months, while the university is shorter. From the above, the tuition fee is higher than that of a vocational school, but the university is easier to graduate and the salary is higher. And college is worth graduating. Even if the national exam fails, there are other options. Vocational schools are not worth graduating and are meaningless unless you pass the national examination. I will tell you a more concrete experience of this vocational school. First of all, the report is handwritten and I rarely use a computer. There is a quiz every Monday and I study on Saturdays and Sundays. Of course, the technical test is strict, and I am retesting because the test tube is swung quickly, just to shake the test tube. I don't say all teachers, but since it is a vocational school, it is cheap, but I still pay nearly 3 million tuition fees, so I would like you to face the students firmly. First of all, those who are thinking of going on to higher education will see the pass rate of the national examination. As some of you may understand, numbers such as 80% and 90% are the percentages of people who have taken and passed the national examination. There were nearly 40 people in my year, including retired students, but about 15 people were able to take the national examination. In other words, it is a pass rate in a small number of about 15 people. Does not include students who have dropped out or failed the graduation exam. Just keep that in mind. We do not recommend making judgments based solely on what is written on the school's official website or pamphlets. Since the school wants to enroll, if you write down the disadvantages of the school, your reputation will be bad. In addition, the contents of the school's official website and pamphlets are thin, and it is often difficult to understand what kind of curriculum it is until you enroll. Reading a brief explanation about the medical profession and comments from graduates does not help me in my career. The comments of the graduates are the comments written in advance by the teacher of the school. Most of the comments are from teachers because they are rewritten by teachers. Not limited to this vocational school, schools want to enroll to make money, so I always recommend that you do it. Just be careful. Therefore, it is important to think about your course at your own discretion. Talk to others and find out about the profession you are aiming for to see if you can continue at this school. It's not difficult to consult or research for your own career path. It is important to think and act for yourself rather than being encouraged by others to make decisions. Studying at this vocational school is difficult, but some students have overcome it and passed. I don't think it's necessary to study hard enough to hurt your body.
