The design is by Kenjiro Maeda.
After the war, there were few such auditoriums in Tokyo, and it was known as a mecca for music-related performances.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1938年東京タワーや大隈講堂の設計者内藤多仲作品。2016年照明設備を取り替え、座席と化粧室を新しくリニューアル。講堂ステージにスタインウェイのピアノがあり、共立女子中学合唱コンクール等では、生徒が伴奏演奏。高等学校でのマスタリーコンサート等でも生徒が演奏に使用している。
「千代田区景観まちづくり重要物件」に指定されている。
1938 Works by Tanaka Naito, the designer of Tokyo Tower and Okuma Auditorium. In 2016, the lighting equipment was replaced and the seats and restroom were renewed. There is a Steinway piano on the auditorium stage, and students play accompaniment at the Kyoritsu Girls' Junior High School Chorus Competition. Students also use it for performances at mastery concerts in high schools.
It is designated as an "important property for landscape town planning in Chiyoda Ward".
