★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自分は高校生活に行き詰っている時にここの学校の先生方と出会いました。正直あまり人と話すことが得意という性格では無かったのですがそれでも先生方の鼓舞や自分でも何か出来るんじゃ無いかという自分への信頼感を生むきっかけも作って下さり無事東京大学に受かりました!!!ほんとに感謝でいっぱいです自分はこの学校のおかげで今があると思っていますのでぜひ来てみてください!
 When I was stuck in high school life, I met some teachers from the school here. To be honest, I wasn't very good at talking to people, but nonetheless, I made the inspiration for the teachers and the opportunity to create a sense of trust in myself that I could do something by myself. Thank you so much. I think that I have now thanks to this school, so please come and visit us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ほんとにたくさんのことを経験させてくれます。また、先生と生徒の距離が近いところも印象的です。普段親や友達に話せないことを相談出来るし、ただ聞いてくれるだけじゃなくてアドバイスもくれるので、本当に助かってます。
勉強ももちろんですが、特に勉強以外に大切なことを学ばせてもらえる場所だと感じています。
It makes me experience a lot. It is also impressive that the teachers and students are close. It's really helpful because I can talk to my parents and friends about things I can't usually talk to, and they can give me advice as well as just listen.
Of course I study, but I feel that it is a place where I can learn important things besides studying.

他の通信制サポート校などと異なり、放置ということはまずなく生活改善から進路指導まで様々な相談に乗ってもらえます。
合う合わないは人それぞれだと思いますが、多種多様な悩みを抱えた人たちが集まる場所でもあるので学校生活にお悩みの方は、一度相談に伺ってみてはいかがでしょうか。

私は中学２年の夏に学校に行きたくなくなり、部屋に引き篭もりました。そして学校に行かなくなってから数日が経ち、親と当時の担任の先生に高卒支援会を勧められました。ちょうどその頃ゲームに飽きてきていたので試しに行ってみました。面談が終わった後、親に「ここに通ってくれれば勉強はしなくていい」と言われ試しに通ってみることにしました。そして一年半が経ち自分はそこまで勉強を全くしませんでした。そしてそのまま鹿島学園の通信制高校に入学しました。その時先生の計らいで進級テストを行いました。そして自分の結果は惨敗。そこで自分の無能さに気づきました。そして私は勉強しなくてはいけないと考え始めました。しかし、なかなか勉強には踏み出せず数ヶ月が経ちました。先生にはそろそろ進学か就職か決めろと言われ、自分は勉強もできないし仕事も自分には責任取れないし...とかなり悩みました。そしてある人に自分のやりたいことをやればいいと助言を貰い私は進学を決めました。
世間的には通信制高校などはあまり印象がいいとは言えませんが私はここに入って良かったと思っています。
I originally hated studying.
I didn't want to go to school in the summer of my second year of junior high school, so I stayed in my room. A few days after I stopped going to school, my parents and the teacher at the time recommended a high school support meeting. I was tired of the game at that time, so I tried it. After the interview, my parents told me that if you go here, you don't have to study, so I decided to go for a test. And after a year and a half, I didn't study much at all. Then I entered Kashima Gakuen's correspondence high school. At that time, I made a progress test with the teacher's care. And my result is a catastrophic loss. There I realized my incompetence. And I started thinking that I had to study. However, it has been a few months since I could not start studying. My teacher told me to decide whether to go to school or to get a job, and I was very worried that I could not study and I could not take responsibility for my work. Then, I was advised by a person to do what I wanted to do, and I decided to go to school.
I can't say that correspondence high schools are so impressive to the public, but I'm glad I entered here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高卒支援会の元理事長の杉浦孝宣さんが書いた「不登校・ひきこもりの9割は治せる〜1万人を立ち直らせてきた3つのステップ〜」という本を読んでみて、高卒支援会の人達は信念を持って本気で引きこもりの子達を立ち直らせようしているのだなと感じました。この高卒支援会なら引きこもりの子達が立ち直っていくのも納得です。実際に高卒支援会を訪ねたところ、みんな明るく、たくさん笑うアットホームな雰囲気ですごく素敵なところでした。
After reading the book "Can cure 90% of school refusal and hikikomori-three steps that have helped 10,000 people recover" written by Takanobu Sugiura, the former president of the high school graduate support group, I felt that people were seriously trying to recover the withdrawal children with conviction. It is understandable that the withdrawal children will recover at this high school graduate support group. When I actually visited the high school graduate support group, it was a very nice place with a cozy atmosphere where everyone was cheerful and laughed a lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「不登校・ひきこもりの９割は治せる」を読んで、色々なケースに真摯に向き合い、改善につなげていることがうかがわれました。個別に対応する、というのはこういうことだなあ、と思います。
自身の提携先の通信制高校だけでなく、他の進路に対しても対応してくれる、というところも素晴らしいと思いました。
そして、基本にある、規則正しい生活、自律、社会貢献の段階と、保護者の本気度が問われる、というところ、興味深かったです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「不登校・ひきこもりの９割は治せる」を読んで、いかに規則正しい生活、自律、社会貢献の段階を読んでいくことが大切かよくわかりました。ひきこもりは早い段階から両親が本気で向き合うことや、信頼関係を築いた第三者のサポートが必要不可欠だと思いました。何人かの事例を読み、長くひきこもっていた生徒も高卒支援会に通いにこれるようになっていて感動しました。私はこれからインターンとして、不登校の生徒の社会復帰のサポートに関わっていきたいとより強く感じました。

私は心理職を目指していますが、クライエントに対しては受容が必要だと習いました。だから、ひきこもりに対しては何もせず、ただ彼らを受け入れることが重要だと思っていました。しかし、この本を読み、時には強引な介入が必要だということ、受容は大事だが、受容と何もしないことは違うことを学びました。これは、この本を読むまでなかった視点でした。
ひきこもりの子を持つ親は、「どうやって対応して良いのか」「どうして自分の子だけ駄目なんだ」と悩まれると思います。この本はそんな不安に寄り添い、解決策を提案してくれています。ひきこもりに対応する際は周りに頼れるところがあること、ひきこもりを生む原因は彼ら以外の可能性があるということをこの本では教えてくれます。

I am aiming for a psychological job, but I learned that I need acceptance for my clients. So I thought it was important to do nothing about hikikomori and just accept them. However, after reading this book, I learned that sometimes brute force intervention is needed, and that acceptance is important, but acceptance and doing nothing are different. This was a perspective I didn't have until I read this book.
Parents with hikikomori children may be worried about "how to deal with it" and "why only their own child can't do it". This book is close to such anxiety and suggests solutions. This book teaches you that you can rely on others when dealing with hikikomori, and that there are other possible causes for hikikomori.
