At that time, this area was a wilderness overgrown with pine trees, so it seems that it was called Komatsubara, but now this area is a quiet residential area with the surrounding countryside, and the place name of Tojo is a remnant of that time. Although some of the names of the buildings and buildings are left behind, the temples also quietly blend into the surrounding landscape, and it is hard to feel that such a serious incident had occurred in the past. In the wide precincts, it is said that the demon mother god, who is said to be the guardian deity of the Lotus Sutra, appeared from the hands of Tojo who tried to ride a horse and kill the great saint, in order to rescue the great saint. A magnificent Maki tree of a 100-year-old sacred tree is left. Although it is an old tree, the leaves are still lush. It is said that the great saint protected himself by repelling Tojo's sword, which he tried to lower, with a bead when he encountered this law, but the figure of the demon mother god suddenly appeared on this maki tree. Tojo was surprised and fell, and the great saint was said to have saved his life. Even so, because he was founded in Kominato, he was chased by Seichoji Temple because of the antipathy of Tojo and others. Returning to the local Kominato, the feelings of the great saint who encountered such an incident and lost both the beloved disciple and the believer who supported the great saint at the same time can be overlooked. However, this must have further strengthened the belief of the great saint himself as a practitioner of the Lotus Sutra.
