★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 秋田市旭南にある臨済宗妙心寺派のお寺で、秋田藩の家老であった梅津政景が、寛永4年（1625）大平山の麓に開創したのが始まりと伝わります。境内には九頭竜神社が勧請されています。六地蔵様ですが、風化?撫でられたため?お顔がツルツルですね。ご本尊は釈迦牟尼仏で、秋田西国33観音霊場第11番札所です。
 This is a temple of the Rinzai sect of Myoshinji Temple in Asahi-minami, Akita City. Kuzuryu Shrine is recommended in the precincts. Rokujizo-sama, your face is slippery because of weathering or being stroked. The principal priest is Shakyamuni Buddha, the 11th place of the Akita Nishikuni 33 Kannon Sacred Ground.
