K	Koji Domoto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me, kushikatsu is the best food I ate in Japan. This Kushikatsu Daruma Restaurant got a good service and very friendly. The place is a little bit small but comfortable and has a Japanese feels in it. Will absolutely come again for the 2nd time.

Recommend seafood like shrimp, oyster and sardine. For those who do not bother to select “fried sticks” from their many choices, they offer sets of 9/12/15 too. It’s perfect match with beer.

Be prepared to stand long for this shop! Once you're in you're gonna eat your heart out! * Please NO double Dipping in the special sauce as it's breaking the LAW!
I	Ian Gore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very WW2-era traditional-sized restaurant, with mostly Japanese locals, most tourists go to the larger restaurants for the extra space I think. If you're looking for an authentic kushikatsu experience then this is the best store to go to. You will get a feel for both cramped eating spaces and being the only foreigner present. If you can read or speak Japanese then doubly so! The food itself is tasty and an good introduction to the Osakan street food, 串カツ. The server will fry whatever you order and introduce whatever he serves you by name, a piece at a time and give you suggestions on what to pair it with. Be sure to order a drink while you're there, no Japanese street dinner is complete without it!
P	Philippe Gauthier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small place hard to find but it is worth searching for. The prices are very reasonable and the Kushikatsu are just out of this world. The staff is incredibly friendly (they spoke English and even a little French). They will explain how to eat your Kushikatsu (with or without sauce, with or without salt). You are in very good hands since they know their stuff. I highly recommend the lotus root, tuna, rice cake and cheese.

The food can be ordered as individual sticks or you could opt for the sets that are available, very.much like a sampler of all the items that they have. The restaurant itself is not big but there's sitting all the way to the back or along the bar area. Food is good, though it can get pricey once you start to add on the sticks.
