★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 湯畑源泉。間口は狭いですが、中は意外に広いです。共同湯の中では湯加減も手頃で落ち着きます。

浴室、脱衣場が広く洋式トイレがあります。
個人的には好きなところです♪

タオルを持たずに入る人、止めてください。
※『観光客のマナーが悪い！』と言われているので、皆で温泉ルールを守って楽しく気持ちよく入りましょう。

It is a local communal bath. Let's use it according to the local rules. Give a greeting. Turn off the light when you are the last customer. Leave the hot spring. Stop the water. Do not disturb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 草津の貰い湯のひとつ。工事で脱衣所の床がキレイになりました。
源泉の出ている場所と湯船に段差があるので、自然に適温になっています。
お気に入りのお湯ですが、現在は地元の方のみの利用と貼り紙がありました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道の駅から比較的近く(750m)の共同浴場。
湯船はタイル張りで1x1.5間の広さがありとても快適でした。
浴槽の長辺側に段差を設けてあり、気分に合わせて浅く浸かったり、足を伸ばして肩まで浸かることが出来ます。
それだけでなく、源泉からかけ湯できる水槽もあり至れり尽くせりです。
外湯の中で一番好きな浴室レイアウトです。
外には夕涼み用の素敵なベンチがあります。このベンチ、雨ざらしにするにはもったいない代物なのでは？

ひとり静かに入っていると女湯からの音が聞こえてきます。
ここからは音から勝手に想像(妄想)。
老人2人と入れ違いに観光客が入ってきました。
湯船の熱かったのか、軽い悲鳴「きゃ！」。
かけ湯の前の気合い「はっ」。
かけ湯後のため息「ふーー」。
湯船に入る前の気合い「よし！」。
湯船に浸かって軽いうなり声「うー」。
妄想してとても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

観光客には公にオープンにされていない「隠れ湯」的な無料の共同浴場。マナーを守って入浴できるなら、観光客でも利用可。
こじんまりとしたレトロなたたずまいに、程よく年季の入ったウッディーな室内。
リラックスしながら天井を見上げれば、どこかの山あいにある温泉小屋にいるような気分になれる。
お湯の温度は源泉の流し口から一番遠いところ（一番ぬるいところ）で47℃。他の共同浴場なら足湯しか楽しめない温度だが、コチラには源泉の流し口の反対側にスノコが敷かれているので、ドカッと座りながら掛け湯を楽しむことも可。
