下	下浦拓二 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 草戸峠は高尾山口、町田街道方面、草戸山が合流する地点。標高は325mだそうで、草戸山頂きではありませんが、周りより高くなっていて、新宿副都心も一望できますので、山頂と勘違いしてしまいます。因みに草戸山の標高は364m（一説によると365mという話も）で、町田市で一番高い山だそうです。この周辺はハイキング（トレッキング）するのはもってこいの場所です。四季折々の野草やキノコが自生しています。高尾山口から草戸峠の間は比較的、ハイキングを楽しむ人が多いようです。東に向かい大戸の方に降りずに館町の方向に進むと人は少ないと思います。 Kusato Pass is the point where Mt.
