★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この呉織神社は飯山町運動公園の南西側に位置し横を通る度に気に成っていた小山でした。
社伝によると呉織の里は飯野山を北西に控え五岳、大麻、象頭の山々、東南の方には幾許の十三塚。
この里に神鎮まる天万拷幡千々比賣命。
もと応神、雄略天皇の御代に呉より召されて機織りの術を広めし産土の神である。
この地の古名「阿野」は漢織呉織の由緒に深く織女の塚に存するにより明らかで有る。･････と記されています。
この小山の形、神社名が呉織神社等坂出市加茂辺りに残る綾織塚の伝説と考えると古墳の可能性が高いのではないか！？
