車で来ないと大変なところですが、車で来ると(着いたところで)また大変です。 道が狭く(旧東海道)車のすれ違いは至難の技となります。また、駐車スペースが限られており、順番待ちも覚悟しなければなりません。 でも、それだけの苦労をしても桜海老は食べに来る価値があります。ぜひとも、春と秋の漁期に訪れてみて頂き、新鮮な由比の幸をご賞味頂きたいと思います。
It's hard if you don't come by car, but it's hard again if you come by car (when you arrive). The road is narrow (formerly Tokaido), and passing cars is a difficult technique. Also, parking space is limited and you have to be prepared to wait in line. However, even with all that hard work, the sakura shrimp are worth coming to eat. 秋漁解禁になった桜えびを食しに伺いました。 道が複雑に入り組んでおり、道幅も狭いので安全運転を心掛けたら、土曜日の開店11:00から、ちと遅れ11:15くらいに到着。駐車場はまだ空きがありラッキーでしたがすでに満席でした。 店内にある名簿に名前を書いて店外で待つこと40分で店内に案内されました。 桜えびセットを注文し15分ほどで食事を提供頂きました。 生桜えび、釜ゆで桜えび、桜えびのかき揚げ1枚、桜えびの釜飯、味噌汁、香の物、みかん、のセットです。 かき揚げは1枚まで追加で注文できるそうですが追加せずとも十分満足な量とお味でした。 生の桜えびは初めてでした。ほのかに甘さが感じられ臭みも無く美味しく食せました。 店内からは駿河湾と富士山もキレイに見られました。 感染症対策で入店時に手のアルコール消毒の依頼、退店後は席のアルコール消毒を行っており安心できます。 スタッフの方も丁寧に接客頂きありがたかったです。

I ordered the Sakura shrimp set and served the meal in about 15 minutes. It is a set of raw sakura shrimp, boiled sakura shrimp, one piece of fried sakura shrimp, sakura shrimp kamameshi, miso soup, pickles, and mandarin oranges. It seems that you can order up to one additional kakiage, but the amount and taste were quite satisfactory without adding it. It was my first time to eat raw sakura shrimp. I felt a slight sweetness and had no odor and was able to eat deliciously. Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji were also beautifully seen from inside the store. As a measure against infectious diseases, you can rest assured that you will be asked to disinfect your hands with alcohol when you enter the store, and after you leave the store, you will disinfect your seats with alcohol. The staff was also grateful for the polite customer service.

桜海老をいろいろ楽しめます。かき揚げは衣が少なめなので、油にやられやすい人でも美味しくいただけます。刺し身も定置網にかかった地魚が新鮮で美味しいです!
You can enjoy various kinds of sakura shrimp. Kakiage has less clothes, so even people who are easily oiled can enjoy it. The sashimi is also fresh and delicious with the local fish on the set net!

We had very delicious lunch at this eatery. Seems that the sakura ebi are harvested during spring and autumn, so we are fortunate to be in autumn 2019 season, and noted press reports that harvest was cancelled in autumn 2018.
