★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅前はスーパーや飲食店があり利便性が良いです。隣の立川ほど栄えてはいませんが少し歩くと閑静な住宅街があり住むには最適です。
 There are supermarkets and restaurants in front of the station, which is convenient. It's not as prosperous as the neighboring Tachikawa, but if you walk a little, you will find a quiet residential area, which is perfect for living.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ クリスマスが近づくと街路樹がイルミネーションで綺麗です。国立駅の高尾行きホームから、イルミネーションをガラス越しに撮った所、不思議な写真になりました。2020年春には、懐かしの「三角屋根」が完成するので楽しみです。駅前のnonowaに、文房具や手拭いの「三角屋根」グッズが売り出されています。
As Christmas approaches, the street trees are beautiful with illumination. From the platform for Takao at Kunitachi Station, when I took the illumination through the glass, it became a mysterious photo. In the spring of 2020, the nostalgic “triangular roof” will be completed and I am looking forward to it. Stationery and towel "triangular roof" goods are on sale at nonnowa in front of the station.

冬の朝は富士山も非常にクリアに美しく見えますよ〜。
The sunset from the up platform (lines 2 and 3) is superb.
Mt. Fuji looks very clear and beautiful on winter mornings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高架になって、雰囲気が変わった。ホームも２島になり、上り線は同時に２編成が停車できる構造になっている。複々線になるとしたら、地下？三角屋根の旧駅舎も復活した。
The atmosphere has changed due to the elevated structure. There are two islands on the platform, and two trains can be stopped at the same time on the up line. If there are multiple lines, is it underground? The old station building with a triangular roof has also been revived.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ もうちょっと機能的にしてもよかったのでは？タクシー乗り場とか邪魔。妙なスペースが多すぎるし。利用者も増えてきたしねぇ。
来週のあさがお市は楽しみ。
