★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和の時代に一度だけ訪問した事があります。中学校の野球部の練習試合でしたが、名前からして県の外れにあると言う意味なんだなぁ・・・と納得した記憶があります。グランドが長方形型でライトが浅くレフトが深い、という野球には向かないタイプの作りでしたね。初夏の頃でしたが、結構暑くて厳しいなぁって思っていたら、ちゃんと水撒きもしてくれてありがたかったですね。なんせ、我が中学校はど田舎の荒れたグランドと水撒き用の水道設備も無いような所でしたから、妙に羨ましかった事が思い出されます。
